HNQO returns to SlothBoogie Recs after contributing the looped up goodness of his ‘So Sure’ track to the label’s Dancing With Friends series last summer. This time round he’s delivered another set of pumping and danceable gems for the No Punk EP.
The Brazilian starts us off with the EP’s title track… A late night burner layered with low slung and driving grooves punctuated by echoed synth stabs, filtered brass, vocal samples and rolling basslines.
Next up is Non Verbal Comms that will test out your speaker’s low end to the limit. Get hypnotised by the thicc bassline as it whomps its way into summer time melodies and floaty feel good vibes.
Closing out the EP is the dark and moody Trick with its hypnotic atmosphere, skipping hats, filtered rumblings and heads down hazy feelings, perfect for a smokey dancefloor.
