Anna Collecta is a Brooklyn-based DJ passionate about disco and house music. A resident DJ of Rollerwave NYC, who puts on some of the largest roller disco events on the east coast. Co-founder of Hot Honey Sundays, one of Brooklyn’s most popular free dance parties, she’s a turntablist at heart… having started out as a Hip-Hop DJ. You can find her at select venues throughout NYC playing all vinyl sets, digging deep into her collection, with a style known to get any dance floor going with high energy, soulful selections!
“NYC’s end of summer and early fall events have been super high energy especially just coming out of Halloween. For a contrast, I put together a house + disco mix that felt like the right segway into the season change. I included a lot of soulful, heartfelt tracks I don’t always get to play in the clubs. There’s something about the changing weather that even in NY, makes people slow down a bit and take their time; or at least to reset before N.Y.E.!…. Enjoy! “
